Are you ready for a wild adventure behind the scenes of the jungle hut? Join us for a 4-week after-school club that offers an exclusive look into the daily life of The Jungle Ranger. Get ready to dive into the captivating world of reptiles and invertebrates and discover the secrets that unfold once the doors of the Jungle Hut are closed.
Our club aims to provide children with an educational and hands-on experience, allowing them to learn about the care, conservation, and excitement that come with being a Jungle Ranger at The Jungle Hut.

WHAT DOES THE
KEEPER CLUB INCLUDE?
Week 1: Exploring the Jungle Habitat:

An introduction to the Jungle Rangers animals.

Guided tour of the Jungle Hut to observe different reptile and invertebrate species.

Understanding the importance of maintaining a safe and healthy environment for these creatures.

Learning about the basics of reptile care, including enclosures, lighting, and temperature control.
Week 2: Reptile Diets and Feeding:

Dive into the dietary habits of various reptiles and invertebrates.

Witness feeding sessions with the Jungle Rangers and get the chance to assist in feeding select creatures.

Gain insights into the nutritional needs of different species and their feeding schedules.

Discuss the significance of a well-balanced diet in ensuring the health and well-being of our jungle inhabitants.
Week 3: Behind-the-Scenes Care:

Hands-on experience in cleaning and maintaining enclosures.

Learn about enclosure design and creating naturalistic environments for reptiles and invertebrates.

Understand the significance of regular health checks.

Discover the role of enrichment activities in keeping the creatures mentally stimulated and active.

Create enrichment activities for the creatures and set them up in their enclosures.

Help to bath and clean some of our reptiles.
Week 4: Conservation, Terrarium Crafting, and Future Jungle Rangers:

Engage in discussions about the importance of wildlife conservation and protecting natural habitats.

Learn how the Jungle Rangers contribute to conservation efforts through education and awareness.

Embark on a special "Craft Day" where children create their own terrariums. Each child will take a slice of the jungle floor home with them in a concealed biome, complete with soil and plants,.

Graduation ceremony and certificates for participants, acknowledging them as honorary Junior Jungle Rangers.
Club Logistics:

The Jungle Rangers Keeper Club is designed for children aged 6+.

The club is a parent drop-off and pick-up program, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for the participants.

The fee for each child is £10 per week, making the total cost for the 4-week program £40.

Full payment of £40 is required at the time of booking to secure your child's spot in the club.
